Des Moines based Fine Art photographer, Julia Frances Vericella, has been creating narrative photography since 2010. In 2013, Vericella received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied painting, drawing, and photography. A native Angelino, Vericella began showing her work at the Beverly Hills Art Show and most recently had a solo show at the LaPeer Hotel Penthouse in West Hollywood showcasing her underwater photography. Vericella’s precise compositions coupled with her signature foreboding darkness make up her unique style as a passionate portraitist. Julia continues to add to her personal body of work while shooting with clients through her company, 33rd Street Photography, in Des Moines. Vericella recently relocated to Des Moines to experience a slower pace of life and has been enjoying her time here so far!
